Dungeon Inn changes
As the year draws to a close, we wanted to share a small update on what we’ve been working on for Dungeon Inn, and look back on some happy memories from the last month!
Fixes, Adjustments, and a Big Thank You
Thanks to everyone who took the time to send us feedback and bug reports over the past weeks. Because of your help, we were able to fix several important issues affecting progression and stability. Thank you ever so much!
During the last update, we overhauled the reputation system and recalibrated many of its values. Unfortunately, our testing wasn’t sufficient in some areas, and this led to inconveniences while you were progressing through the game. We sincerely apologise for the trouble this caused.
We’ll continue to make improvements step by step, and we’ll do our best to provide you with a smoother, more enjoyable experience going forward.
Preparing a New Story for Sara and Friends
Alongside these fixes, we’ve also begun working on a new story arc for Sara and her friends. This upcoming storyline will feature 12 new stages, spanning Chapters 7 to 9.
We’re thinking carefully about how this new phase of Sara’s journey should feel: Why are the adventurers quarrelling so much? What are they really fighting over? And when might this dispute finally come to an end?
To help set the mood, we’re also preparing a new in-game trailer that will gradually reveal more of these events.
These pieces are still in progress, but we hope they give you a small sense of where the next chapters are headed.
Life at the Inn (and in the Studio)
It’s not all spreadsheets and balancing work—sometimes it’s also very fluffy.
It’s about time we gave Bami’s fur a good brushing. 🐈 Our studio cat has been supervising development very closely (usually from a warm, sunny spot).
Moments like this help us recharge a little as we work on the second half of Dungeon Inn.
ALT+G and a Special Award
Last month, we were able to exhibit Dungeon Inn at ALT+G, an offline indie game festival held in South Korea. It had been quite some time since Cat Society took part in an offline event on our own, so just being there already felt very special.
We decorated our little corner of the venue to feel as cozy as the inn itself, and were incredibly happy to meet players in person again.
And we’re honoured to share that Dungeon Inn received the ALT+Style Award. This is actually the first time I’ve received an award since graduating from high school! It means a great deal to us, and it is only possible thanks to your support.
Next month, we’ll also be exhibiting at Beaver Rocks, another indie game festival in Korea. We’ll do our best to make sure both the next update and the event go smoothly.
Looking Ahead & How You Can Help
Over the coming weeks, we’ll continue:
Preparing the new story stages for Chapters 7–9
Refining systems based on the most recent feedback
Working on the new in-game trailer to introduce the next phase of Sara’s journey
As usual, if you have any suggestions or bugs, we would be delighted to hear from you through this Google form.

Thank you for spending this year with Dungeon Inn. We’ll keep working hard so that the inn remains a place you’ll want to revisit, again and again.
See you in the next update, Innkeepers. 🏡✨
