Dream Eaters.exe changes
We’ve just released a major update to the demo! Here's the full list of improvements and changes:
- Voice ChatBoth proximity-based and 2D voice chat are now available. Voice effects that match the environment (such as echo) are included. You can disable these effects if you prefer. Additional features include player muting, push to talk, noise suppression and voice detection sensitivity settings.
- Text ChatText chat is now available both in the lobby and in-game for players without a microphone.
- Performance OptimizationsWe've made broader optimizations and improved the quality settings. Presets now have a more noticeable and tailored impact on performance.
- FSR SupportAMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) has been added to the upscaler options.
Upscaler Fixes: Previously, only DLSS was functioning correctly. This has been resolved and all upscalers, including FSR, now work as intended.
If you're using an AMD GPU, please let us know if enabling FSR improves your performance.
- Item Use Bug FixedPlayers could scroll through active items, but the wrong item would sometimes be used. This is now fixed.
Interaction While Dead Fixed: Dead players were previously able to interact with objects. This is no longer possible.
FPS and Ping Counter: You can now enable FPS and ping counters via the settings menu.
Build Versioning: Build versions are now shown in-game to help with debugging and synchronization.
Miscellaneous: Numerous minor improvements and bug fixes have been implemented.
Important Notes:
To use voice chat, make sure your microphone is properly selected in your Windows sound settings. The game uses the default system input device.
If voice proximity is not working and all voice sounds are 2D, try deleting your save files located at:

Thanks for your continued support, keep the feedback coming guys!
