Finesse Update (v78)
This update adds new early-game adventure content around Havenford, gives Rogues a new finesse bonus with light weapons, and cleans up several quest, combat, spell, UI, and save rough edges.
New Adventures Around Havenford
Added the Havenford Mines quest and dungeon, available from Brannoc in Havenford.
Expanded the Burned Cottage into a larger investigation that leads more naturally into Reedmire.
Added new named early-game threats and rewards in optional dungeon content.
Class, Combat, And Spell Changes
Rogues now gain a DEX-based attack bonus with light weapons as part of Backstab.
False Life now grants temporary HP that absorbs damage before regular HP.
Adjusted early spell availability for a cleaner starting caster curve.
Improved fire, oil, projectile, line-of-sight, and cone spell behavior.
Improved door, lock, boulder, and trap-related balance in early dungeons.
Quest And World Polish
Improved early quest journal entries and NPC quest markers.
Cleaned up early NPC dialogue and reduced overly explicit quest hints.
Adjusted several early world-map locations and dungeon layouts for smoother pacing.
Improved mine, cottage, shrine, and altar interactions.
UI, Saves, And Fixes
Added selectable UI accent themes.
Improved load-menu delete consistency.
Improved level-up confirmation layering.
New saves now use compressed save files while retaining fallback loading for older saves.
Added localization coverage for new content and options.
