It's based off Uncharted Waters, and is a naval battle, trading economy, and JRPG all tied into one. We only started work on this project a few days ago, but have already created a whole entire enemy AI system that will play the game the same way a chess AI does. It will always make the best move against you every single time it can. We have expanded a ton of ideas on this game today, one being the expansion of cannon styles.

You will love their dynamic, and if you unlock and find out their backstory, you will love why they stick with each other as well. So far for the 5th day of production, things are going fast and smoothly. Once I have the AI systems programed using the event logic and not plugins or scripting, this game will go fast. Then I just will have to make a ton of towns and villages, a few dungeons, and a ton of different naval battle setups you get to fight. The whole concept of mixing a game like Uncharted Waters and JRPG together is already paying off well, and I only just started. I will try to keep you all updated on progress as often as I can.

Water's Bounty is a game I've always wanted to make.

Basic Cannons - Hit one block, two blocks from either side of the ship

Spread Cannons - Hit three blocks in a row, two blocks from either side of the ship, but less damage

Mid-Range Cannons - Hit one block, three blocks from either side of the ship

Long Range Cannons - Hit one block, four blocks from either side of the ship

Frontal Assault Guns - Cone Shape in front of the ship that hits 6 blocks, but much less damage

We have also finished a ton of work already on getting the intro setup and in place. Last night I also got the pixel art done for most of the ship's deck. I still need to make a Captain's Wheel and some stairs to bring the back section up a level, but the side rails are done, the water now comes up the side of the ship in waves, and I placed cannons in the windows I had to change from metal to wood windows. On top of that, I was able to scroll the screen up and down to mimic the motion of being on a ship.

Besides that, I spent yesterday also working on the structure of the storyline, and how the hero and the kid that talks for them act. You will love their dynamic, and if you unlock and find out their backstory, you will love why they stick with each other as well.
