This has been a pretty big requested feature: you can now import animated tiles to the map and use them during your session. Pretty cool!
It should accept just about any format, but webm is HIGHLY recommended. It modern, efficient, and allows for transparency.
Keep in mind this is going to cause your system to lag on particularly weak hardware. My test rig is an ancient low-end machine and it can handle maybe half a dozen before it starts to chug along too slow. Nothing I can do about that really.
The other big news is that we are now "Digital TableTops VTT". I've been wanting to rebrand this way for a while but needed to reach a certain number of reviews before asking Steam nicely to let me change it. Which they agreed promptly so we are all set there.
Now when you search for "VTT" we are right there below Fantasy Grounds when sorted by relevance and in the #1 spot when sorted by reviews. Thanks everyone for helping to make that happen!
Next up is some relatively minor UI fixes. Mostly related to tiles. Such as:
- ability to rotate tiles - change how they are moved and toggled - ability to pause/play animated tiles - make better thumbnails for animated tiles (sometimes they appear blank if the first frame of the video isn't correctly encoded).
