This highly requested functionality is finally here. Sorry to keep you waiting!
The update brings part 1 of roadmap's Update 1, which is mid-run saves (saving during a game). We decided to split Update 1 to give you this feature as soon as possible because it was the most requested thing.
Now, whenever you quit via the Pause ('Esc') -> Quit, the game will save and can be continued later. A new 'Continue' button will then appear in the main menu.
