Frostvale - Update 0.7 (New Biome)

addedNew difficulty - Beginner🆕 To make starting easier, we’ve added Beginner difficulty, where the Buckle Up effect is reduced from 10% to 2% increase per stack, letting new players explore and learn at their own pace.

Frostvale is a harsh land of ice, mountains, and brutal creatures. Only the toughest survive here.

Map generator

New difficulty - Beginner

🆕 To make starting easier, we’ve added Beginner difficulty, where the Buckle Up effect is reduced from 10% to 2% increase per stack, letting new players explore and learn at their own pace.

Damage Type Multipliers System (preview)

Quality of Life changes

🆕 Added a shadow to the cursor to make it easier to see on light backgrounds 🆕 Units with a special ability now have a bolded title to hint at what the unit does without reading the details

Balance changes

♻️ Lizard Warrior: Health 60 -> 80 ♻️ Viper: Base Damage 12 -> 14 ♻️ Cyclops: Health 450 -> 480, Exp value 60 -> 100 ♻️ Hobgoblin: Health 180 -> 200, Gold value 25 -> 26 ♻️ Radiant Beetle: Gold value 15 -> 13, Exp value 13 -> 12 ♻️ Increased Book of Experience reward ♻️ Slightly reduced maximum map size

♻️ Arrived Heroes border is now golden in the win stats ♻️ Updated attack SFX for many units ♻️ Updated force applied after a kill for some units ♻️ Added a floor for Alchemist Merchant and the Crazy Alchemist ♻️ Updated some of the Tutorial texts

Bugfixes

🪱 Fixed the game over & victory stats UI 🪱 Fixed issues caused by removing the shield granted by Nobles Shield. 🪱 Hiden Abyssynth damage info (since it was misleadingly 0) 🪱 Fixed issue with saving some events inside the Location area 🪱 Fixed Portal's bridge model not being aligned properly 🪱 Fixed additional spell slot having full alpha initially despite not having an assigned spell 🪱 Fixed upgrade icon not showing at Artifact Merchant 🪱 Enabled mipmaps for Blind and Debuff status effects 🪱 And more
