Demonic Mahjong New Content Preview! New Historical Low Price for Winter Sale!

Since the launch of the Ksitigarbha update last October, we’ve been racing to develop new content. We’re also fully committed to the mobile port, controller optimization, and Steam Deck adaptation—soon you’ll be able to play mahjong across even more platforms!

First off, we’re excited to bring you a massive update in Q1 2026:

1. The Underworld is welcoming 7 new companions:

   Minions: 4 Ghost Brides (Chilla, Misa, Wispie, Lila)

   Elites: Day Warden, Night WardenYama

   King: King Taishan

2. Around 30 brand-new figurines are joining the fray. These will not only strengthen the Chow/Pung, Suit Tiles, and Soul Power playstyles, but also introduce two fresh builds: Shuffle and Odd-Even patterns.

3. A batch of new relics will drop alongside them. These relics will not only amplify each character’s unique traits, but also play a pivotal role in different playstyle systems.

4. We’ll also be fixing the gameplay issues you’ve reported in the current version, and upgrading the overall smoothness of matches!

Let’s take a sneak peek at the new characters coming your way!

• A Ghost Bride surrounded by mysterious butterflies. She can wield Soul Power flexibly with her skills, synergizes perfectly with Soul Power/skill-related figurines, and brings more varied strategies to the Soul Power playstyle.

• A Ghost Bride draped in silk threads and holding a mask. Her skills let her freely switch the suit of her tiles, and she excels at utilizing tile values—she’s a huge fan of triple-suited patterns.

• A Ghost Bride blindfolded and bound by a red cloth. For some reason, she only favors Suit Tiles, and can easily obtain tributes related to them.

• A Ghost Bride dressed in a wedding gown, with an eerie aura surrounding her. She loves draining the life force of others; it’s said that those who face her are barely left with 10% of their strength.

• AddedDay WardenLoves wandering the Underworld and experiencing all kinds of strange tales. Always alone, so she prefers the Odd playstyle—her power seems to grow stronger with every new experience.

• Night Warden: A fan of the Even playstyle. Completing an Even pattern grants her extra relics, which give her a major boost during her nightly patrols.

• King Taishan: Heard about the players’ feats and became interested in them. Specializes in the Kong playstyle, and is recognized as the "Kong Master" of Underworld Mahjong. He firmly believes in the mantra"Kong instead of Pung—Kong to turn the tide", with a fierce and domineering playstyle that uses consecutive Kongs to reverse the fortune of the game.

Besides the new characters, Demonic Mahjong will be available at a 15% discount—its lowest price ever—during the Steam Winter Sale from December 19 to January 6!
