The long-awaited major FREE DLC for Demonic Mahjong — The Horse & Snake — is here!
Yes, you read that right. This is a large-scale FREE DLC!
On February 10, we’ll see you in The Horse & Snake — don’t miss it!
The Horse & Snake is themed around the Lunar New Year. “Snake” represents both the Lunar Snake Year that has just passed, and the Bamboo-focused playstyle in mahjong. “Horse” represents the coming new year, and in-game it also stands for Odd and Even tiles.As the name suggests, in this DLC, the Bamboo set receives a huge boost, and we’re also bringing many brand-new archetypes and strategies centered around Odd/Even tiles. Wishing everyone a joyful Lunar New Year and happy mahjong grinding!
I、7 brand-new characters join the roster!
Seven distinctive new characters arrive!They’re not only playable characters — each of them is also a powerful opponent standing in your way through the Underworld!
Wither
Wither excels at absorbing the opponent’s Mult.By claiming Chow, she can steadily generate Energy, allowing her to frequently use skills to reduce the opponent’s Mult while increasing her own.
Marionette
Marionette specializes in Triple Pung patterns.After achieving Triple Pung patterns such as Triple Pung and Mixed Terminal Chows, she can grant a large Tile Value bonus to the corresponding tiles in your Tile Pool. Her Active Skill can freely change a tile’s Suit.
Nightmare
Nightmare helps you fully utilize Energy. With her Active Skill, you can convert all Energy into Fan; and whenever you Discard, she also helps you recover Energy.
Temptress
Temptress is a character who specializes in Bamboo tiles.The more Bamboo tiles you claim as Chow within a single turn, the higher her Mult growth becomes. Her Active Skill can duplicate even more Bamboo tiles.
Day Warden
Day Warden loves Odd tiles.Her Active Skill can create many Odd tiles, and she also enjoys patrolling the Underworld — each time you enter an Unknown Event, she adds Tile Value to Odd tiles.
Night Warden
Night Warden loves Even tiles. Her Active Skill helps you Draw even more Even tiles; if you achieve an Even-type Pattern, she will grant you a Relic reward.
King Taishan
King Taishan excels at Kong.Her Active Skill makes it easy to complete Kongs. If you achieve Out with Replacement Tile or Olden·Double Flower, you’ll also gain rewards of Gold and Mult.
II、40 new Figurines added!
Nearly 40 brand-new Figurines! Around them, players can build entirely new archetypes and strategies! For example:
【Tao Wu】 After you Chow / Pung and then Discard, move the newly formed Sequence / Triplet back to your Hand Tiles. Tiles of the corresponding type gain Tile Value +5 for this game; it helps you break free from the traditional Chow/Pung playstyle.
And also:
【Hollow Egg】At the end of each round, there is a 3/5 chance it is destroyed, and you obtain 1 random Altar.(This Figurine counts as empty).
III、16 new Patterns!
In this update, we’ve also introduced a series of brand-new and fun Patterns! For example: as well as a series of Patterns related to the zodiac “Horse”, such as:
【Olden·Oddities Bloom】All tiles are odd-numbered tiles and contain Characters / Dots / Bamboos numbered 13579.
【Olden·The Man & Steed Surge】（Contains 4 sets of Character Sequences numbered 123, 345, 567, 789 respectively.）

Tired of seeing the same character on your main screen? Now you can customize the character shown on the home panel — pick whowever you want!
V、A Lunar New Year theme look for Horse-face!
With the Year of the Horse approaching, everyone’s beloved Horse-face is also getting a brand-new Lunar New Year themed outfit!
