Deep Corp changes
First of all, we’d like to thank our first players for their kind words at the start of Early Access. It’s only been one day since the release, and we’ve already received a lot of feedback, and that’s great! Keep writing to us, because that’s how you let us know what you like, what you don’t like, and what needs our attention. Your comments and reviews also help other players understand what the game is about and whether it’s worth checking out. And the more players we can attract, the more we’ll be able to do during Early Access.
Thank you!!! 🤠
Meanwhile, we’ve identified the first bugs and issues and have already compiled a list of what we’ll tackle first (actually, we’re already working on it - an update is on its way!).
Many of you have mentioned that you’d like a more relaxed gameplay experience. So, in the next update, we’ll be adding a “Relaxed” difficulty mode where you can’t lose.
Also, many players don’t realize that the game has autosaves (to continue playing, simply click the “Play” button in the main menu and then select “Continue”). Therefore, we’ll also add them to a separate “Load” screen.
Another priority is fixing bugs that prevent further progress in the game (for example, some players are having trouble unlocking Mine No.6).
We’ll do our best to release this update as soon as possible, within the next few days (we’ll likely start testing the new build as early as today). So stay tuned for updates so you don’t miss the release - we’ll post about them here and on our Discord server.
Also, very soon we’ll start working on a new game mode (for now it’s called New Game+, but it’s actually more like a separate game mode), in which players will choose which mines, cities, and other locations to unlock, as well as which quests to complete. This mode should give players more freedom of choice and replayability.
