DEATHMARK Patch - More Fixes & More Balance!

General Changes Added a text in the Role Reveal that shows how many Corrupted players are in the game. Added some extra information about the team you are on during the Role Reveal.

General Changes

  • Added a text in the Role Reveal that shows how many Corrupted players are in the game.

  • Added some extra information about the team you are on during the Role Reveal.

  • Extended the duration of the Role Reveal by 5 seconds.

  • Added a text in the bottom left of the HUD showing the team you are on.

  • The "New Turn" journal entry no longer shows up as an unread entry notification.

  • Added an intermission period of 10 seconds after a trial, allowing players to counter-trial (at the cost of their own Trial charge, obviously).

  • The Journal no longer says the role of a player that died, it only says the team they were on now.

  • Added a VFX for when a player survives a kill from a protection aura.

  • We changed the way cards work to now allow different versions of the same cards for different lobby sizes.

    • Lobbies with 4-5 players are considered a Small Lobby.

    • Lobbies with 6+ players are considered a Large Lobby.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a typo when a player would join or leave a lobby. (Cutlists anyone?)

  • Fixed player colors being incorrect when a player would leave a lobby.

  • Fixed an issue that let alive players see and hear dead players. Spooky.

  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to use Cards and their Sigil at the same time.

  • Added a softlock prevention for when a player leaves the game while a card is being used on them in the Chaos Phase.

  • Added a softlock prevention for when a player leaves the game during a Trial.

  • Fixed an issue where the game would not check for win conditions after a player left the game.

  • Fixed an issue where cards with a limit per hand would not respect that limit when drawing new cards, or using cards that grant you cards in the Chaos Phase.

  • Fixed an issue where the Sigil of Vision and Sigil of Information would not work as intended.

  • Fixed an issue where non-hosts would have their Sigil charge fluctuate up and down, often telling them their Sigil was ready when it was not.

  • Fixed an issue where Crystal Ball would return an incorrect value.

  • Fixed an issue where Epiphany would count the target using a self-use card when it shouldn't.

  • Fixed an issue where you couldn't type in chat while dead.

  • Fixed multiple issues with the Pause Menu.

  • Fixed an issue where a player marked for death multiple times would be "killed" while already dead.

  • Fixed an issue where the Protected icon on the HUD would show up earlier than expected.

  • Fixed one of the ways that caused the camera to randomly go into an idle state.

  • Tweaked the visual of the Table-Wide Sigils to no longer spoil who used them.

  • Fixed an issue where some cards that should be Legendary were Epic and vice-versa.

  • Fixed an issue where votes from the previous Trial would carry over to the next one.

Balance Changes

Corrupted Team

DEATHMARK (Killer)

  • [LARGE LOBBY] Now has a 20% chance of killing the turn it is used on, instead of marking a player for death.

  • Can now be drawn on the first turn.

Coalescence (Killer)

  • Reduced drop rate by 10%.

  • Is now limited to a max of 1 per hand.

Ebb and Flow (Maker)

  • Sigil charge required reduced from 50% to 30%.

  • Now only gives Ability Cards.

  • Now gives 2 cards instead of 1.

  • Can now target all players instead of being self-use.

  • Is now limited to a max of 1 per hand.

  • Drop rate increased by 15%.

Transmutation (Maker)

  • Now only gives Ability Cards.

Hidden Mark (Shaman)

  • Drop rate increased by 20%.

  • Is now limited to a max of 2 per hand.

Waste Remedy (Shaman)

  • Drop rate increased by 65%.

  • Is now limited to a max of 1 per hand.

Untainted Team

Protective Veil (Seer, Reworked)

  • Removed the ability to reflect cards.

  • Now, whenever a card is used on its target by someone else, there's a 50% chance that it will fail.

  • Drop rate reduced by 25%.

Reflective Barrier (Guardian)

  • Now reflects back to a random player, rather than its user.

Confiscate (Truth-Seeker)

  • Is now limited to a max of 1 per hand.

Democratic Ritual (Truth-Seeker)

  • Changed Action Type from Kill to Info.

  • Changed to the correct rarity.

  • Can now only be drawn once in the entire game across all players.

Stay Alert (Vigilante)

  • Drop rate reduced by 30%.

Improvised Kill (Vigilante)

  • Drop rate reduced by 30%.

Overlook (Spy)

  • Drop rate reduced by 40%.

The Voices (Spy)

  • Drop rate reduced by 40%.

Sigil of Protection (Guardian)

  • Sigil charge earn rate slowed by 40%.

Items

Epiphany (Item)

  • No longer says which roles targeted your target.

  • Now says how many players on each team targeted your target.

  • Is now limited to a max of 1 per hand.

Crystal Ball (Item)

  • Drop rate reduced by 30%.

  • Now has a chance to remove 10% of your target's current Sigil charge.

  • Is now Legendary rarity.

Duality (Item)

  • Drop rate reduced by 24%.

Mystification (Item)

  • Drop rate reduced by 60%.

Sleight of Hand (Item)

  • Drop rate reduced by 30%.

  • Is now Legendary rarity.
