PATCH 1.2.11 "Stellar Nebula & Temperature Mechanics"

PATCH 1.2.11

This patch adds new temperature systems to the game and a brand new skin for Shadow Scales. All these changes are needed before Skin Crafting can be implemented.

NEW SKINS

Added the Star Nebula skin to the Shadow Scale Emote Pack DLC. All current owners of this emote pack will receive the skin for free as a spawn-in skin, non-owners can either purchase the emote pack or obtain it through nesting.

NEW FEATURES

• Implemented new Temperature based Egg Incubation system for all dragons

• Plasma, Acid, Venom, and Unique nests require moderate temperatures to incubate.

• Lightning nests require an electrical charge to incubate, but can be incubated in any temperature. The charge lasts twice as long in wet weather.

• When non-lightning eggs are not the correct temperature, incubation will be paused

• Fire nests can be set on fire to incubate when in cooler climates

• Frost nests can be frosted to incubate in warmer climates

• Water will douse nest fires

• Blitz Strikers can now sniff the air (scent) to forecast the next weather change long before it arrives

• Flame Stalker and Inferno Ravager nests now produce warmth out to 10 meters for all players, the closer to the nest, the more warmth

CHANGES

• Egg incubation progress now gradually makes the egg glow, it is no longer insta-glow

• Egg incubation progress bar UI now says "Incubation Progress" instead of "Gestation Progress"

• Biolumin's no longer get cold as easily

WORLD

• All the snowy mountains are now cold, the twin peaks are still colder than little snowy

• Added stellar nebula to the skybox

• Added sun rays

• Added the possibility for roaming weather events to the world

• Severe weather events now happen less frequently and for shorter periods

FIXES

• Fixed Subsurface Scattering on new Blitz Striker skins

• Biolumins should now be able to nest on all cave walls
