Patch 1.2.29 - Pearls, Pearls, Pearls!

1.2.29 PATCH NOTES

This patch updates the pearl inventory icons to make it easier to tell them all apart! In addition, new pearls overlays have been added as well as our first Legendary Content Creator Skin plus some minor bug fixes and changes! Read below to see what's new!

Pearl Changes!

• All cosmetic pearls now have a new look in the player's inventory, which should help players better identify which is which!

• Added the Pearl of the Black Dragon to Original Kickstarter Backers and players who have unlocked Melanistic skin through gameplay.

• Added the Pearl of the Grey Dragon to owners of the Grey Dragon KS DLC

• Added the Pearl of the White Dragon to owners of the White Dragon KS DLC

• Added the Pearl of the Red Dragon to owners of the Crimson Dragon PT reward

• Added the Pearl of the Golden Dragon to owners of the LT200 reward

NEW Shadow Scale skin:

• Added "Stardust" as an Uncommon Spawn Skin

  

Our first Legendary Content Creator Skin!

Take a look at the CallMePancake skin, a brand new Legendary CC Skin (and pearl) being added to the game! These skins are only obtainable as rewards passed out by the Content Creator they belong to. It is up to the creator how they would prefer to distribute these skins but in most cases, they are rewarded as prizes in contests or through giveaways. Be sure to subscribe to CallMePancake for a shot at earning your own! He plans to do his first giveaway this week!

Legendary CC Skins differ from the normal Content Creator skin as the threshold for creators to earn them is much higher! These are truly a unique gift for our most dedicated creators and we hope the community enjoys their addition to the game! Brood Watcher Changes:

• Brood Watcher Grazing food cap is increased to 70% hunger (was 75%)

Fixes:

• Can no longer smell swamp snappers that are underwater.

• Fixed a shader issue causing AI to be solid black at night.

Legendary Pearl Changes:

In this update, skin crafting support has been removed from all Legendary Pearls in preparation for Update 1.3 and future content, as a result, piebald can no longer be overlaid on Legendary Pearls. Current pearls affected are:

• Pearl of the Creator

• Firstborne Pearl of Creation

• Crimson Shard of Nharogk

• Pearl of CallMePancake

• Pearl of Lusewing

This was a necessary change as piebald was never intended to coexist with Legendary Skins and in addition, will not be functionally compatible with future content we plan to add to the game.
