Before we get into the update, just a quick thank you:

Thank you for playing the game, reporting bugs, and giving feedback. It helps us a lot.

And if you want to support the game even more, the two biggest things you can do are:

It takes a few seconds, but it has a huge impact on visibility and what we’re able to do with the game going forward.

The big change: Fixed Rarity

This is the main thing in this update.

We’ve introduced a fixed rarity system for weapons.

What that means is:

  • Weapons no longer exist in multiple rarities

  • Each weapon now has one fixed rarity

So instead of:

  • “UP9 (Common → Exotic)”

You now have:

  • UP9 (Common)

  • UP9 Tactical (Rare)

  • M1911 (Common)

  • M1911 "El Patron" (Legendary)

Why we made this change

There are a few reasons for this.

First of all: It makes rare things actually feel rare

Some weapons are now genuinely hard to find, and that’s intentional. Rare but extremely valuable.

Second: It gives us way more control over balancing

We can now create a lot of different weapon variants and skins without breaking the economy of the game.

And third and most important one: It sets up the weapon collection system

Soon, you’ll be able to:

  • Collect weapons

  • Unlock them

  • Use them as part of meta progression

Some of these weapons will even act like upgrades that you can bring into runs.

So this change is a big step toward that direction.

Crates & visibility changes

Because of this system, we’ve also changed how crates work visually.

Before:

  • You could see specific weapons in a crate

Now:

  • You see weapon types (SMG, Rifle, etc.)

  • And the rarity chances

This means: a crate that drops SMGs drop all SMGs in the game, so you no longer have to pick a crate for a specific weapon.

We also now show:

  • The exact chances

  • And how they change when you level up the crate

So upgrading crates is much more transparent.

Contract changes

Contracts had to change a bit as well.

Matching rarity

Specific contracts now match the fixed rarity of weapons.

Weapon variants

If a contract asks for AK-47

You can fulfill it with AK-47 El Mandato (variant)

And you’ll get a higher payout for doing so.

But: It doesn’t go the other way

If a contract asks for El Mandato, you can’t use a base AK-47.

This is just the first step. We’ll expand contracts further with more variation and mechanics later.

Other changes in this update

Quality of life

  • Contract filters are easier to use (click text or checkbox)

  • No repeated loading screen when entering via popup ads

  • User guide updated with new systems

Bug fixes

  • Fixed losing respins when spamming

  • Fixed wrong diamond rewards after debt

  • Fixed slot machine clipping issues

  • Fixed incorrect Three of a Kind values

Upgrades

  • Lava Lamp reworked:

    • Now selects a weapon type each day. All weapon sales increase value for that chosen type (instead of only that type giving global bonus)

Added:

  • Pope of Salvation

    • Saves you from dying if you can’t pay debt

    • Gets discarded after use

  • Rarity Disco Ball

    • -50% common chance if no commons in storage

    • 10% chance to be destroyed when keeping a common+ weapon

New weapons

  • DBX-12 (Shotgun) Steam post image

  • FAVR-1 (Assault Rifle) Steam post image

  • PPSH-41 (SMG) Steam post image

  • Panzerfaust (Heavy) Steam post image

Audio

  • Added blood diamond sound

  • Improved sound effects

What’s next

Now that fixed rarity is in place, we’re moving forward with:

  • More weapon variants

  • The weapon collection system

  • Meta progression

  • More content across the board

You’ll start seeing a lot more rare weapons and unique variants in the coming updates.

Feedback

We’d really like to hear what you think about this change:

  • Does rarity feel better now?

  • Is it clearer how to target specific weapons?

  • How do contracts feel with the new system?

Thanks again for all the support.

See you in the Bazaar.
