Okay… first of all:

This update took way too long.

It’s been two weeks instead of one, and that wasn’t the plan. I’ve mentioned it briefly in Discord, but I just want to say it clearly here as well: sorry for the delay.

We’ll do our best to stick to weekly updates going forward.

The upside: this is a BIG update

This is basically two weeks of content in one update.

So let’s get into it.

Limited storage space

First big change: Storage is no longer unlimited.

You now start with space for 10 weapons, and you can upgrade your storage in the upgrade shop.

Each upgrade adds:

  • +5 storage

  • Increasing cost

This adds a new layer of decision-making:

  • What do you keep?

  • What do you sell?

  • Do you invest in more space or something else?

We think this makes the game more interesting, but we really want your feedback here:

Is it too restrictive? Too expensive? Does it feel good?

New upgrades (a lot of them)

We’ve added 9 new upgrades in this update.

Most of them are early to mid-game, which was something we felt the game was missing.

Before, it was mostly:

  • early game (magazines)

  • then straight into late game

Now it feels like there’s a better progression curve.

A new direction: respin builds

Some of the new upgrades interact with respins, which opens up a completely new type of build.

We’re really excited about this, and we’d love to hear what you think.

New upgrades overview

Early game / economy:

  • Ball Cheese – +5% contract payout per empty upgrade slot Steam post image

  • Magic Mushroom Soup – 0–30% payout bonus (changes daily) Steam post image

  • Sausage Party – bonus cash for selling jackpot weapons Steam post image

Pine Scent upgrades (new category)

These are special: They don’t take desk space

They hang next to your screen, meaning you can have more upgrades than before.

  • Ammo Aroma – chance for kept weapons to gain +50% value Steam post image

  • Carpet Bomb Scent – selling a certain weapon type gives respins instead of cash Steam post image

  • Democracy Scent – bonus weapon value per unused respin Steam post image

  • Gunpowder Scent – chance to double payout when selling from crate Steam post image

  • Mushroom Cloud Scent – bonus for shipping 3+ deliveries Steam post image

Mythical upgrade

  • Mermaid’s Head – unused respins convert into payout on next jackpot

This one gets… interesting

New weapons

We’ve added several new weapons:

  • SC90 SMG

  • M134 Heavy

  • Machete “13th”

  • G3 rifle

  • Kar 98K

  • Kar 98K Waldjäger

Bug fixes & improvements

We fixed a lot of issues this time.

Some highlights:

Settings & performance:

  • Added FPS cap (no more GPU melting)

  • Added resolution settings

  • Improved sound settings

Localization:

  • Fixed number formatting issues (e.g. France)

Gameplay bugs:

  • Fixed UI interaction issues

  • Fixed edge cases during debt completion

  • Fixed various click/input issues

UI fixes:

  • Improved support for ultra-wide displays

Still not fixed (yet)

There’s still a bug where: Some players randomly can’t click anything

We haven’t been able to reproduce it yet.

If you still experience this, please let us know. We may add error logging to track it down.

Difficulty & balance

Because of the changes in this update, we’ve also made some balance adjustments.

Especially with:

  • storage limitations

  • new upgrade types

  • new build paths

So again: We need your feedback here

What’s next

Now that this update is out, we’re shifting focus again.

Next up:

  • More weapons

  • More upgrades

  • Weapon variations

  • The weapon collection system

Big upcoming change: rarity system

We’re moving toward a system where:

Each weapon has a fixed rarity based on its variant

So instead of: “AK-47 (Legendary)”

You’ll get: “AK-47 El Mandato” (which is the legendary version)

Jackpot changes

We’re also reworking jackpots:

  • 3 of a kind → smaller reward

  • Exact match jackpots → bigger reward

  • Same weapon + same rarity → even bigger

And rare weapon variants will essentially become jackpots themselves.

Thank you

Seriously, thank you for sticking with us through this update.

Thank you for:

  • bug reports

  • feedback

  • feature suggestions

  • ratings on Itch (this helped a LOT)

We’ve now passed 6,000 wishlists on Steam, which is amazing.

If you haven’t already:

  • please wishlist the game - and leave a rating on Itch

It really helps more than you think. See you in the Bazaar!
