Hi everyone!

We’re excited to announce the Dark Light: Survivor demo is now live on Steam!

Huge thanks to everyone who helped with the closed alpha.

This is our first public demo and we are excited and a little nervous. We are a small indie team driven by passion, and we have poured everything we have into this build. It will not be perfect, but we will keep improving it as we go.

What’s in this Steam Next Fest build

  • The first map to explore

  • One playable class with passive and active skill trees

  • A new meta progression system added with your alpha feedback

  • Equippable artifacts that grant permanent upgrades

  • Six faction skill paths to sample, with some still in progress

  • A mix of ranged and melee options, plus several armour sets

There is more we want to refine and add. We simply ran out of time for this milestone, but your feedback will guide what we do next. Please use the in-game feedback button to share your thoughts. If you enjoy the demo, wishlisting and leaving a short review helps us more than you can imagine.

Note: this is an early demo with limited content. Balance and saves may change.

This demo will remain available until the conclusion of Next Fest.
