Dark Fantasy Tower Defense changes
Thank you all for the successful launch and for the great feedback so far.
A lot of players jumped in right away, shared their thoughts, reported issues, and helped highlight a few areas that needed improvement. That feedback has already helped shape this update, and I really appreciate everyone who has been playing, posting scores, sending bug reports, and helping make the game better.
Here is what is included in this update:
Added
Unique music tracks for every map
End-game stats track and UI updates
Star system for map completion
50 waves = 1 star
100 waves = 2 stars
120 waves = 3 stars
Different colored experience orbs and an experience bar at the top of the screen with a level indicator
Wave Pause option!
Hold LB or F to pause the horde!
Stats screen now has animated raining XP orbs upon match completion. So fancy.
New Expert Map: Ruin Rampage!
This map has 4X spawn points for enemies
Unlocks at Player Level 10
Updated
Merchant now appears every 30 waves instead of 50
All players now have the Magnetic Amulet ability by default
Coins are now easier to pick up and suction to the player
Language selection added to Settings
It is still also available via the globe icon at the top left of the main menu
Map Selection Screen is now organized by difficulty (Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert)
Various UI/UX enhancements in the menus
Audio pitching for different sounds so things are more unique sonically
Removed
Magnetic Amulet Merchant Item
Fixed
Using LMB instead of the scroll wheel on tower selection from the build menu works better
Tower Info panel will no longer appear when attempting to upgrade without enough gold. Instead, it will simply play the negative prompt/sound.
Thanks again to everyone who has supported the game so far. Please keep the feedback coming. It has already helped make some much-needed changes, and I will keep improving things from here.
