1,000 Wishlists & Release on Monday!

We just crossed 1,000 wishlists for Dark Fantasy Tower Defense, and with launch coming on Monday, April 20, I wanted to say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who has wishlisted the game, played the demo, shared it with friends, reported bugs, tested co-op, and followed along while I kept improving it. It genuinely means a lot.

The last stretch before launch has been all about polish and player feedback. Recently I added:

• A ghost preview for tower placement

• In-game music

• UI and Options refinements

• Versioning

• New sounds to give players better moment-to-moment feedback while playing.

A lot of the work in these final days has been focused on making the game feel better, clearer, and more complete heading into release.

As the game is gaining more traction, I've been getting a bit more nervous about release. I want to make the game accessible to as many people around the world that loved the classic tower defense days. I am excited to announce that Localization is Now Available!

Supported languages are: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Brazilian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Latin America, Swedish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian, Arabic, and Vietnamese!

(Please Note: I am not able to test all of these languages on my own, I am a solo-developer. Please let me know where the UI or translation may be bad by posting screenshots in the Bug Reporting channel. Thank you!)

I wanted to release my first game as a "completed" project and avoid Early Access. However, that doesn't mean there isn't more to come! I will be making regular updates, fixes, enhancements, and additions to the game going forward. You can also expect ZERO microtransactions in Dark Fantasy Tower Defense! I want to bring back the nostalgic and classic feeling of the tower defense games I used to love and share it with everyone.
