Cyberwar: Neon City changes
Implementations
Playtime added to save game and visible in the Main Menu
"New Record" added to the game over screen for longer runs
Main NPCs now have an exclamation mark above their heads whenever they have something new to say
Teleport Duck
Improved design
Now it only needs to be purchased once to unlock the floor
Fixes
When using the duck to teleport directly to floor 4, Printer would disappear
Buying the chainsaw shows a button to exit Bluetopus; if clicked, Bluetopus UI won’t open again
Pause menu not saving sound preferences
Pause menu displaying unnecessary resolutions
When pausing during boss fights, music wouldn’t resume after unpausing
Enemy shots would still sound even with the game paused
Redtopus challenges not resetting junk drops, causing balancing issues
Blackout challenge made the scene too dark
Talent lock challenge not working on floor 3
Deadly Trigger skill in the skill tree increasing damage only for current Blue
Cyber Metrics
Numbers were hard to read
Opening Cyber Metrics during sub-boss fights caused black bars to appear and not disappear
Tutorial
Dialogues corrected
NT8000 portrait was flipped
Car in Neon City trapping the player
During the walk-shoot-move-by-mouse sequence, shots were not following the cursor
UI sometimes freezing the game when buying Voice Hack in the skill tree using a controller
Pausing during the tutorial causes the player to lose controller inputs
Adjustments
Enemy spawn visuals adjusted
Slot machine interface, sounds, icons, and feedbacks adjusted
Some UI texts in English and Portuguese were corrected
Dash system remade
Dialogue text size adjusted for Steam Deck
Tutorial teaching how to shoot in Neon City improved
Menus
Some menus simplified
