CyberTaxi: Lunatic Nights changes
Dear Taxi drivers!
We have gathered all the feedback you have provided in recent weeks and prepared another important update. This time we have improved the overall in-game performance, reduced RAM and CPU usage during gameplay and drastically decreased game files size. Also, we have fixed a dozen of annoying bugs, such as hanging User Settings and lack of sounds while hitting metal barrels.
These optimisations and upgraded texture filtering should have a positive impact on city streaming and loading times.
PATCH NOTES - v. 0.9.50zx [Early Access] Following fixes were implemented:
Major - Enabled filtering for all textures.
Major - Reduced texture file size (by 80%).
Major - Massive VRAM optimisation (reduced usage by 40%).
Major - Re-designed many game functions to reduce latency.
Major - Deleted many performance-heavy delays.
Resolved hanging issues and improved performance in the User Settings menu.
Fixed player voices when healing.
Fixed the proper display of key and button hints in the taxi.
Many materials have been fixed.
Fixed barrels sound when hitting them.
Minor changes to loot at the beginning of the game.
Many quality updates in Garage and during the first mission.
Enhanced AI and behaviour of the first enemies in the game.
Reduced the CPU usage while spawning crowd NPCs.
Reduced impact on GPU and VRAM in various visual effects.
Changing Effects Quality to Low or Medium displays a warning prompt to restart the game (to recompile shaders).
Updated game controller plugin.
Game files size drastically reduced due to optimisation.
Side bollards are now destructible and can be smashed.
Added nicer objects in some city areas.
Lots of other minor bugfixes.
