CyberTaxi: Lunatic Nights changes
Dear dystopian Taxi Drivers!
We have prepared a huge update after reading lots of feedback, especially your requests and suggestions, to make our dark-noir simulator better. We have just uploaded a gigantic patch to CyberTaxi: Lunatic Nights. You can check out the detailed changelist below.
PATCH NOTES - v. 0.9.35qx [Early Access]
The following fixes and changes were implemented:
Major - Updated to Unreal Engine 5.6.1 from 5.2.1. Lots of technical changes.
- Major - New languages supportedBrazilian, Russian, Turkish. Totally updated: Chinese (Modern Common).
Major - Full-scale lighting update. Added dynamic shadows to all lights in the game.
Major - Entire driving model redesigned.
Major - New HUD implemented.
Major - Save games during first mission are now available.
Major - New subtitles system that scale properly with HUD's screen size.
Important - Fixed an issue that caused a decrease in dynagel cells every time the taxi engine was ignited.
Important - Added head shots to all enemies. Enemy health points reduced by 40% for every difficulty.
Important - Fixed lots of curbs in all areas that were causing the taxi to flip over.
New suspension settings for taxi.
New throttle and brakes parameters.
Traction control enabled in all wheels.
Better steering alignment inline with controls handling.
First changes to handbrake - enabled slight handbrake.
Fixed random weather issues.
Windshield rain displays properly in taxi FPP view when it gets rainy.
Pause menu buttons now hide and display properly.
New notifications and HUD icons on foot and in taxi for better overview of player stats.
Updated player stats information - Collectibles added. Collectible card status added.
Removed broken materials from Old China Town and updated windows in many buildings.
Adjusted scale of buildings in New China Town.
Removed wind from the clothes of NPCs (optimization).
Added better markers and arrow guide to the first mission.
Added possibility to fully skip taxi arrival in main menu.
Some mission markers and objectives updated.
Fixed broken loot.
Removed fake minimap from screen in taxi cockpit that was misleading.
Updated localization for other languages.
Added missing voice overs in some dialogues.
Optimization fixes for various materials and objects.
Looting lockpicks now grants from 2 to 3 lockpicks instead of 7.
Physical bounciness reduced for vehicles.
Gentle items now have 900% health - increased from 200%.
Fixed slightly levitating buildings and the scale of some fences.
Fixed many gameplay bugs with mission markers display issues.
Various navmesh fixes.
Dozens of texture, materials and mesh collision fixes.
Lots of minor fixes related to rendering and physics.
Radio music is now affected by Music Volume in settings.
Updated missing textures and materials around the city.
Fixed collision of curbs of Tenements' streets.
Modified or corrected the placement of various objects in the city.
Fixed loot interactions.
Fixed various quest item interactions.
Fixed sprinting and walking speed. Running is no longer possible if stamina value gets very low (proper walk state run state switch implemented).
Many emissive materials fixed or changed.
Removed broken materials from tech walls and added newer ones.
Updated gaming controller plugin. Better support for older gaming controllers.
Fixed UI bug that displayed double HUD when entering taxi. Also, fixed an issue with 'Press button to Enter Taxi' notification, which is no longer displayed while player is already in the taxi.
Card collectibles required limit reduced from 52 to 26. Modified spawn points for cards during main missions. Now there is always a 100% chance to find a collectible card during missions.
Level loading times reduced by a few seconds.
