Cup and Counter: Coffee Shop Simulator changes
In this update, we are introducing two new features that will help make people's lives easier, especially when dealing with food and the display cabinets.
You can now purchase a display tray. These can be placed into the counter, and then you can place items onto these trays. Employees will be able to automatically restock these from any boxes you have lying around.

The second new feature is the ability for you to transfer cup contents from one to another. This will make it easier if you make a mistake like grabbing the wrong-sized cup or the wrong type.
Now that we are on top of things, we are going to begin working towards our long-term goals and begin implementing new features for everyone to enjoy. Some of these will be new drinks to make, or new things that occur in the world. If you have any suggestions, or any feedback, be sure to either leave a comment on our Steam Discussion board or on our Discord.
Version 1.1.4 Patch Notes
[NEW] Introduced a new display tray system. Place these into your display cabinets and easily keep stock of your food. Employees will continue to keep them filled up if you have any boxes lying around.
[NEW] Cup contents can now be transferred from one to another. Enables saving a drink that needed to be in a bigger variant or in a takeout cup. The cup you pour it from will become dirty.
[NEW] Added new graphics presets, as well as smarter detection to try and select better default graphics settings. The settings selection will only trigger on new builds.
[REWRITE] Significant rework of our spatial audio system. Three large benefits: one is that it is more performant; second is that sound can actually bend around corners; and third, thanks to better performance, more sounds can utilize it, so you shouldn't hear voices coming through the bottom floor.
[OPTIMIZATION] More work has been done to reduce the amount of VRAM our game consumes by reducing duplicate materials and materials that are significantly larger than they need to be.
[FIX] Fixed a bug where the HUD would still display when you are at the table
[FIX] Solved a bug where counters could lock up an item
[FIX] Fixed a bug with the trays where the counters could absorb the placed items notifications
[FIX] Fixed a bug that would make it impossible to pack up certain furniture items despite emptying their shelves
[FIX] Correct a collider issue that made only the front door rim interactable
[FIX] Fixed a placement bug where items could end up being shoved into a wall or through into another surface. Placement should now properly follow the preview
[FIX] Improved the behavior of the tray placement logic; it should now allow you to place items from the tray significantly easier.
[FIX] Corrected an issue that could cause the NPC you are delivering to to randomly vanish.
