Cup and Counter: Coffee Shop Simulator changes
It is only a few short days before the full release of Cup and Counter! We look forward to everyone enjoying everything we have built for the game.
In the meantime, we have one major update before full release on Monday (20th of July). With this update, we have now introduced a conversational system for all pedestrians and customers of Cup and Counter. You can now converse with them.
On top of this, we have continued to build out the game world with tiny little features that just make it feel more complete.
Additions / Major Fixes
Customers and pedestrians are now talkative, and various little stories will play out.
Light switches have now been added to the world. While you can now turn the light on and off in your cafe and apartment, this helps further develop the rooms so they look like actual places.
Major update to the sky to make it feel more atmospheric, especially on clear days
The other areas of the world, like the theatre, bank, and market, are no longer always open. The first employee who turns up at them will unlock the store.
Milk-based coffees will now have random latte art applied upon completion.
Fixes / Minor Improvements
Fixed duplicate save ID on the same walls. This fix may cause some walls to default back to their default styling.
Tweaked the pouring positioning
Corrected an issue that could happen where there was a desync between the crosshair radial and the amount you have poured into a mug
Further improve the customer flow logic
Various text fixes
