Cup and Counter: Coffee Shop Simulator changes
Since the last update, we have been working extensively to build out the final gameplay systems for our release, while also addressing feedback from everyone playing the demo.
As part of this work, you will find that we have added much more detail to various parts of the game world: the bank now looks more like an actual bank, and the market now actually has stock. NPCs will also start their shifts at these places and enter from various parts of the world, including from the other apartments. In the final release, you will be able to take orders for these various NPCS and deliver them.
Additions / Major Changes
Reduced all milk variants to only come with 4 cartons. Also reduced their price to reflect this change. Additionally, they will now last 6 days, rather than 4.
Removed the large box of coffee.
Expanded the theatre area out into a proper scene with a clearer area
Expanded the bank area into a proper scene.
Filled out the park market with actual stock
Added NPCs to various areas with proper schedules. These will be used for customers that you can actually deliver to.
Updated the game logo to our new and final version.
Rolled back customer balancing. This should stop the throttling that was slowing down customer flow to a crawl
You can no longer manually close the store during the day; you are now expected to complete the full day of work.
At the end of the day, you can now ask customers to leave. Additionally, if you head straight to bed, you can now just end the day. All unfulfilled orders will be refunded.
Syrup bottles can now be picked up and used on cups, rather than cups just being used on them, this helps maintain the same behaviour we introduce to the player with the milk jug. Both behaviors should work cleanly alongside each other.
Significantly rebalanced the cost of equipment, while bumping the base acceptable drink and food cost by 25 percent.
Please note that existing saves don't automatically get the 25 percent boost, but you should be able to bump the price up a bit safely now.

Added artist for our new logo, artwork, and capsule art to
