Cube Kingdoms will leave Early Access on June 16th. I’d like to briefly explain why this step is happening now and what you can expect.
During the Early Access phase, I focused mainly on onboarding, UI improvements, and stability, as I received a lot of helpful feedback in these areas – thank you for that!
The overall scope of the game hasn’t changed much. Cube Kingdoms still offers around 10–20 hours of campaign gameplay, plus freely configurable custom games. I’ve decided to wrap up the project at this point and move on to new ideas, as Cube Kingdoms has unfortunately performed much worse than I had hoped. After several years of development, it feels like the right moment to move forward.
Since little new content has been added, the price will remain unchanged. For the full release, there will be a 25% discount, and the game will continue to appear in major sales afterwards if the regular price is too high for you.
Thank you to everyone who supported Cube Kingdoms during Early Access, provided feedback, and reported bugs. The game wouldn’t be in this state without you.
