New Update v0.8.01: Morning Calls and Gameplay Fixes

Thank you very much for all the feedback, reports, and suggestions you continue to share with us. We are still reviewing the ideas and pain points shared through the Steam Discussions and using them to determine which areas should be improved first.

This update introduces Morning Calls, a new way for key persons to reach out to you during your daily routine. This feature is designed to make the NPCs in Cropia feel more alive, while also giving players light guidance and useful hints about features, activities, and systems in the game directly through the characters.

We have also included several gameplay fixes related to farm facility purchases and employee seed handling.

Here is what is included in this update:

1. Morning Calls

Key persons can now contact you through the new Morning Calls feature.

Morning Calls are designed to make your daily life in Cropia feel more connected to the townsfolk around you. Instead of only receiving information through menus or tutorials, some helpful tips and feature hints can now be delivered naturally through short messages from key persons.

When a new day begins, a key person may call you in the morning with a short message. These calls may introduce useful reminders, hints about game features, or small pieces of guidance related to your current progress.

Each call displays the key person’s name, portrait, and message bubbles in a phone-style interface. After reading the message, you can close the call and continue your day as usual.

a. Morning Call Preferences

After receiving your first Morning Call, you will be asked how often you would like to receive them.

You can choose from the following options:

• Daily

• Every 5 Days

• Off

This lets you decide whether you want to hear from key persons every day, only once in a while, or turn the feature off.

b. Changing the Setting Later

Your Morning Call preference can be changed later from the Social panel in the Management Menu.

From there, you can adjust the setting for key person calls whenever you want. This makes it easier to control how often Morning Calls appear as you continue playing.

c. Key Person Call Selection

Morning Calls are selected from key persons who are currently available in your game progress.

This means the call system follows your current progression and will use key persons that are already relevant to your playthrough.

Bug Fixes

1. Farm Facility Item Purchase Fix

Fixed an issue where purchasing a farm facility item while both the hand slot and Bag were full could cause the purchased box to appear in an incorrect location or become difficult to find.

If the item cannot be carried immediately, it will now be placed at the shop’s fallback drop point, and the Bag full notification will be shown.

2. Employee Seed Handling Fix

Fixed an issue where employees could repeatedly drop and pick up leftover seeds when Employee Commodity Storage was full.

Leftover seeds will now be handled as a single stack when possible, preventing employees from entering a repeated drop-and-pick-up loop.
