Cropia changes
Hi everyone! 👋
Thank you very much for all the feedback, reports, and suggestions you continue to share with us. We are still reviewing the ideas and pain points shared through the Steam Discussions and using them to determine which areas should be improved first.
This update introduces the new Daily Request Board, giving you another way to use the items produced and collected throughout your daily activities. We have also included several improvements and fixes related to character names, vehicle stamina, sheep behavior, and employee harvesting.
Here is what is new in this update:
1. Daily Request Board
A new Daily Request Board is now available near your farm, allowing you to complete item requests from townsfolk in exchange for coins.
The Request Board becomes available after reaching Reputation Level 8.
a. Completing Requests
Each request displays the townsfolk who submitted it, along with the items they need.
The requested items are selected based on your current progress. The board will only request eligible items that you have already obtained before, helping ensure that the requests remain relevant to the content you have discovered.
Once all required items are available, the Submit button will become active. Submitting the request removes the required items from your available stock and provides coins as a reward.
b. New Requests Throughout the Day
A set of requests will be available when you begin each new day.
Additional requests will also arrive at:
09:00
12:00
15:00
The Request Board displays when the next set of requests will arrive, allowing you to plan your production and gathering activities throughout the day.
Requests that have not been completed will expire when the day ends and will not carry over into the following day.
c. Items Counted from Multiple Storage Locations
You do not need to move every requested item into your Bag before submitting a request.
The Request Board checks your available items across:
Storage
Employee Commodity Storage
Refrigerator
Bag
On-Hand
Items stored in these locations are counted together when checking whether a request can be completed.
When a request is submitted, items from your storage locations will be used before items currently held On-Hand.
d. Clearer Request Information
Each request card indicates whether you currently have enough of every required item.
The Request Board also displays:
The number of requests completed during the current day.
The arrival time of the next requests.
Whether each requested item is available or still missing.
The board will also provide a visual notification whenever new requests are waiting to be viewed. The notification will stop after you open the Request Board.
Additional Improvements
1. Consistent Townsfolk and Employee Names
Townsfolk and employee names will now appear consistently throughout the game.
Personal names will be displayed as their original names rather than being processed as translatable interface text.
This improvement applies to several areas, including:
Conversations and interaction prompts
Employee information and status screens
The Social and Employee sections of the Management Menu
The Map
The Daily Request Board
Confirmation windows
This should prevent character names from appearing differently across menus or languages.
2. Settings Menu UI Improvements
The Settings Menu has received several layout improvements to make its options clearer and easier to read.
Text sizing and spacing have been adjusted to prevent labels from overlapping or being cut off. The layout of several selection options has also been refined for a cleaner and more consistent appearance.
Bug Fixes
1. Vehicle Improvements
Fixed an issue where riding a vehicle could continue draining stamina as though the player were sprinting.
Stamina will now recover normally while riding a vehicle. Sprinting will also automatically stop when entering a vehicle, preventing it from continuing unexpectedly after dismounting.
Opening the vehicle rental window will now stop the player’s movement and display the cursor correctly, preventing stamina from being consumed while selecting a vehicle.
Scooters will now be prioritized when targeted, making them easier to select and ride when parked close to crops or other nearby objects.
2. Sick Sheep Behavior
Fixed an issue where certain sick sheep could continue walking or eating instead of displaying their intended sitting behavior.
We have also adjusted their behavior after loading a save to prevent multiple sick sheep from gathering or overlapping at the same position.
3. Employee Harvesting When Storage Is Full
Fixed an issue where harvesting employees could repeatedly pick up and drop the same item when the Employee Commodity Storage was full.
Employees will now check whether the storage has enough space before collecting an item. If the item cannot currently be stored, the employee will skip it instead of repeating the same action.
Thank you again for your continued support, reports, and feedback. We are still reading and collecting everything you share through the Steam Discussions, and we will continue prioritizing improvements based on their feasibility and impact on the overall experience.
Some suggestions may require additional planning, development, and testing before they can be included. If you do not see a particular suggestion in this update, it does not necessarily mean it has been overlooked.
If you encounter any issues or unexpected behavior, please let us know through the Steam Discussions so we can investigate further.
We will keep listening, improving, and growing together with you. Happy playing! 🌱💛
