Counterpick Labs changes
Map Editor (Beta)
Added a Map Editor, which allows players to create custom maps to fight on. The Map Editor includes Stages, Platforms, Icy Stages, Icy Platforms, Targets, Bumpers, Barriers, Spike Balls, Checkpoints, and also a few completely new stage hazards:
New stage hazard: Teleporter. State and momentum are maintained while teleporting, which allows for some cool combo setups.
New stage hazard: Conveyor belts.
There are now two types of Spike Balls, Regular and Void. Regular Spike Balls deal damage and knockback, and Void Spike Balls instantly KO on contact.
Note that the map editor is considered in beta, as there are some important features still missing. For example, there is currently no way to upload and discover maps made by other users. There are also currently no customizable win conditions, which means puzzle/platformer-type levels will be a bit janky.
This is a pretty large feature so I wanted to get more feedback before I continue working on it. Please try it out and leave feedback through any of the typical channels - Discord, In-game feedback form, Steam forums, etc!
Bugs
It is no longer possible to waveland out of UFO up special tumble animation.
Previously it was possible to waveland even after using an airdodge with a specific input timing. This is no longer possible.
Fixed a bug where bots in private lobbies would sometimes spawn with incorrect loadouts.
Fixed a bug where control options (such as tap jump) would sometimes fail to save correctly when creating a control profile. Note that existing control profiles will need to be re-saved for them to work properly.
