  • Added the ability to duo queue with a friend for 2v2.

UI/UX

  • Reworked lobby and quickplay UI to support new 4-player features.

  • When selecting a stage, ctrl/start no longer selects a random stage. Instead it selects the currently-focused stage.

  • The default random stage pool for new players now excludes stages with hazards.

  • Improved button mappings for 8BitDo controllers.

Bugs

  • Fixed rare bug where stage and blastzone colliders wouldn't load at start of quickplay match, causing player to fall endlessly.

  • Fixed rare desync caused by sticky warp mine.

  • Fixed bug where using UFO abduct on an opponent that is already being abducted could cause the game the crash.

  • Fixed bug where crossbow's arrow wouldn't trigger the Leech upgrade in Arena/Hybrid modes.

  • Fixed bug where crossbow's arrow didn't ignore super armor. (It is supposed to beat super armor since it's a secondary weapon).

  • Fixed minor bug where UFO neutral special would appear to continue channeling if the button was held while getting knocked out.

Sorry about the long wait for this update. Should be back to a faster update cadence now :)
