Coreless changes
The Module System Is Here
Modules are now available, replacing Boosters and introducing a major new layer of build customization.
Socket Modules into your abilities and Powers to reshape their damage, elements, resource mechanics, targeting, movement effects, summons, and more.
A large collection of Regular, Unique, Gear, character-specific, and global passive Modules is available, opening up many new build directions to discover.
You can further expand your available sockets through the Talent Tree and Programs.
Elemental System Update
Abilities and Powers are no longer locked to specific Elements. For example, Radiant Bolt is no longer Conduit by default. Instead, you can equip Infuser Modules to change the Element of any ability, making elemental synergies more versatile and accessible.
All elemental mechanics have also been significantly buffed to make them more impactful and strategically relevant in combat.
Balance Adjustments
Enemy strength has been adjusted to better fit the new Module System.
Players are now briefly granted immunity when a Boss is killed or a Source is revealed.
Powers now receive most of their key milestone upgrades as default effects. Milestone perks from Power Programs now provide additional sockets instead.
Performance and Stability
We have significantly improved performance related to enemy spawning, first-wave loading, crowded combat, and mass enemy deaths. This is part of our ongoing effort to optimize the game following the major update.
Under Development
We are still working to make the new Module System more versatile and add more Modules and build options. We will continue releasing new patches as development progresses. Thanks!
