Copperfell changes
Yet another update for the Copperfell demo, now onto v0.1.3! This update adds a new gameplay settings tab along with a few other changes, mostly following the suggestions I have been getting from the community. Here's the full change log:
New Gameplay Settings
Added a new Gameplay tab in the Settings panel, which includes the following toggles:
- A new Auto Move setting, which enables you to just press a movement key once and have your player move continuously in that direction (work on this feature is ongoing)
- A new Always Hide Roofs setting, which will have roofs always be hidden
- Removed the Hide Overlay UI action as a keybind and instead added it as a gameplay setting
Improvements
- Added more pine trees to the east of Breezerock for easier twig gathering
- Added a new sound for transferring items between your inventory and other containers
- Modified the number 1 in the small font variant to make it more legible
- XP bubbles are now also hidden if Hide Overlay UI is enabled
- Improved logic for assigning keybinds to actions that were already in use
Balancing
- Increased healing amounts of all food items
- Slightly increased respawn times of most resources
- Slightly reduced combat XP rates as they were faster than other skills
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an exception when equipping items while having tutorial indicators hidden
- Corrected a few misplaced terrain tiles
