Patch – AP006.1
Several adjustments have been made to improve gameplay clarity and the overall player experience.
Tutorial Improvements
The tutorial text has been expanded and refined to better explain how the investigation tools work and what the player’s objectives are. Specifically:
Evidence sandbox clarification: The tutorial now explicitly mentions (twice) that all evidence types are temporarily markable. This is intentional and designed to help players learn how to identify different types of evidence.
- Ghost selection clarificationThe ghost is automatically determined by the game’s internal logic. Once all evidence is marked, the correct ghost will be resolved automatically in the terminal. Previously, players thought something was broken when no ghost appeared selected.
UV Light System
The “UV Light” button in the HUD is now purely visual. To avoid confusion, the system now works exclusively with the ‘F’ key. The button will display “(F)” as a reminder of the hotkey.
Difficulty Adjustment (Night 1)
The probability of ghosts leaving evidence during the first night has been increased by 10%. This should help new investigators experience a more active session and discover clues more frequently.
