Entity Redesign: Toward an Organic Presence
I’ve begun a visual evolution process for all entities that haunt the psychiatric facility. The goal is to move away from the synthetic, overly polished look of AI-generated assets and push toward a more raw, tangible, and unsettling form of horror.
🎨 Design and Texturing Refinement
The new ghost models and textures have been reworked using classic design techniques to give them greater depth and a stronger sense of visual authenticity.
- Granularity and GrimeLayers of micro-textures have been added to simulate decay, dust, and organic matter, removing the overly smooth surfaces.
Dynamic Visual Noise: Entities now feature a layer of static noise that makes them feel unstable, as if their very existence is interfering with reality.
Organic Appearance: Digital shapes have been softened to create more asymmetrical, natural silhouettes, evoking a sense of physical presence that was previously lost in algorithmic perfection.
