Steam Achievements: Your Bravery Has Been Recorded

The Steam Achievements system has been officially integrated into Contención: Psiquiátrico (COPS). From this update onward, every night survived and every challenge overcome will be permanently recorded on the investigator’s Steam profile.

Retroactive Sync for Veteran Players

For players who have already endured multiple nights, a new Automatic Synchronization System has been implemented to recognize prior progress.

• No Replays Required: Upon launching the game after this update, the system will scan your local save file.

• Instant Recognition: All previously completed achievements (nights survived, challenges cleared, or survival records) will be automatically unlocked on Steam.

New Challenges Available

12 initial achievements have been added, covering the core aspects of the containment system.

• Surveillance Cycle (Nights 1–7): Individual achievements for each successfully completed shift in the psychiatric wing.

• Special Protocols:

  • Nightmare: Survive under the most hostile conditions.

  • Scarcity: Manage limited resources with surgical precision.

  • Vengeance: Carry out vengeance against the guard.

  • Survival: Set a prolonged containment survival record.

• 100% – "Complete": The ultimate achievement, awarded only to those who fully complete the game.

Infrastructure Improvements

This update also introduces internal improvements to the game’s architecture to ensure a stable and reliable Steam integration.

• AddedSecure PersistenceA new synchronized save system ensures that unlocked milestones are correctly reflected on Steam servers.

Note: If achievements do not appear immediately, make sure the Steam Overlay is enabled in the game’s properties within your library.
