New Features

  • Brand-new tutorial system. The clunky floating overlay is gone. Tutorials now live in a clean bottom strip with Next / Back / Skip buttons. Highlight rings pulse on the exact icon or topbar element being explained.

  • Per-panel tutorials. The desktop walkthrough only covers what every screen does at a glance. The deep mechanics (worker priority, decline cap, mentoring, marketing campaigns, products pipeline, ...) are now explained the first time you open the panel that owns them - no upfront wall of text.

  • Desktop walkthrough is now one step per icon. Every desktop icon gets its own pulsing highlight + description so the text always matches what is glowing on screen.

  • Five contextual mini-tutorials fire automatically the first time their mechanic kicks in: first employee sick day, first yearly salary negotiation, first coding-event mini-puzzle, the DM -> EUR currency switch, and the bankruptcy-warning pause.

  • Click any desktop icon during the initial walkthrough to skip straight to that panel. The walkthrough ends cleanly and the panel's own tutorial starts when you arrive - no extra Skip step needed.

Improvements

  • All 28 supported languages received fully native translations for the new tutorial content. No English fallback strings shipping in any locale.

  • Time-control tutorial copy now matches the actual UI - the old text still talked about keys 0-3 and four speed buttons, the game has had five (Pause + 0.5x / 1x / 2x / 3x) with Space + 1-4 for a while.

  • Panel layouts shrink automatically while the tutorial strip is visible, so the bottom of any panel (Back buttons, list bottoms, Deliver buttons) is no longer hidden behind the strip.

  • PHPolygon engine upgrade: SceneManager, EventDispatcher and InputMap are now first-class - groundwork for future features that need scene transitions, event subscriptions and re-bindable keys.

Bug Fixes

  • Six panels (Achievements, Goals, Marketing, Competitors, Statistics, Products) shipped tutorial content that was never registered with the controller. Their tutorials now fire as intended on first open.

  • The speed-control highlight ring in the tutorial sat about 50 pixels left of the actual buttons because the layout math assumed four speeds and audio buttons on the wrong side. Aligned with the live topbar layout.
