Repeated intro

Hello strategy friends!

What changed

0 fixes4 additions2 changes0 removals
  • Gameplay
  • Performance
addedSave and load. With this version, we have finally decided to allow you to create your own save games in the game. So far the game has "only" saved automatically (which continues to happen). In addition, the player can now create as many save games as his hard drive allows. We'll be planning a few small improvements until the release, but that's a start.
addedManual placement of buildings. You can now optionally use a checkbox in the city administration to choose whether you would like to position the building yourself or whether you want to leave this to the AI.
addedNew buildings (tannery and hunters) and modified building functions, including for the tavern.
addedThis point is currently taking up most of the development time and we hope to be able to complete it in the course of November. Since the inhabitants are an important part of the game, we wanted to make some enhancements to the simulation there before the release. For example there is now an overview in the cities and in the game overview of each individual inhabitant with various data such as age, gender, occupation, office. As a result that every resident with their individual strengths and weaknesses can now take over an office, the previous system will be replaced.
changedOf course, a few more expansions and improvements are planned for this feature too, so stay tuned.
changedSo we want to shoot this roadmap with the fact that a larger version with expansions to the game is planned after the upcoming patch. After that, we will mainly focus on balancing, fine-tuning, smaller enhancements and performance until the release. As already mentioned, we still have some ideas for our game after version 1.0, the to-do list is full of it. The future will show what else we can build in, and it's best to talk about that after the release.

It has been a while, but today we want to give you a brief summary and talk about the state of development and the future of our project.

Unfortunately, the development has been slowed down a bit in the last few months, but we are still well within the timeframe until the planned release in August 2021. The development of the next update is currently in full swing and the finished game is also a good deal closer. We plan to release the next patch towards the end of November.

We'd like to give you a brief overview of what's available in the upcoming patch and what we're still working on. As always, we reserve the right to make changes:

  1. Revision of the main menu and expanded empire and character creation.

  2. Save and load. With this version, we have finally decided to allow you to create your own save games in the game. So far the game has "only" saved automatically (which continues to happen). In addition, the player can now create as many save games as his hard drive allows. We'll be planning a few small improvements until the release, but that's a start.

  3. Manual placement of buildings. You can now optionally use a checkbox in the city administration to choose whether you would like to position the building yourself or whether you want to leave this to the AI.

  1. Expansion and better visibility of residents' needs.

  2. New buildings (tannery and hunters) and modified building functions, including for the tavern.

  3. Revised information on the negotiator in the diplomacy menu.

  4. Various other changes to the game system.

  5. Bug fixes should of course not be missing.

  6. Inhabitants and offices version

  7. This point is currently taking up most of the development time and we hope to be able to complete it in the course of November.

Of course, a few more expansions and improvements are planned for this feature too, so stay tuned.

To conclude, we regret to inform you that the saves files will be unusable again in the upcoming and the following major patch. This is simply due to the major changes in the code.

So we want to shoot this roadmap with the fact that a larger version with expansions to the game is planned after the upcoming patch. After that, we will mainly focus on balancing, fine-tuning, smaller enhancements and performance until the release. As already mentioned, we still have some ideas for our game after version 1.0, the to-do list is full of it. The future will show what else we can build in, and it's best to talk about that after the release.

That's it for now. As soon as the version is ready, we will inform you.

Last we wish you a lot of fun playing and of course, as always, thank you for your support and feedback!
