addedafter a long silence there is finally news about the project! The development of the update took much longer than desired, but this was because of the complexity of the update as well as a few other reasons. But now we can finally see light at the end of the tunnel and we can talk about the state of the game. The update is now "feature complete" and has been in optimization mode for a few days. Of course, the AI would also like to learn how to use the new stuff. However, we do not want to give an exact release date. At least it can be said that it won't be long and the next time you hear from us it will be with the update in our luggage.
addedWe don't want to go into the features and achievements of the older news today, but of course these are still on board! The biggest time waster was one of the main pillars that has finally come into play. The planning for this already existed at the beginning of the project, but it only made sense to build it now. In a nutshell, this is the game's population simulation. This ranges from the daily routine of the residents to offices and many more. To be more specific, every single inhabitant of the world is now simulated instead of using a general interpolation. Each resident now has their needs, strengths and weaknesses, which affect their offices, occupations, combat skills and affects his life span. As already indicated, there is now a system of government in which residents can take on various tasks. For example the treasurer who gives various bonuses. The changes are very profound and there is a lot more that you can see in the game. With this we are also introducing some RPG elements such as attributes and health points. But it will take too long to explain every single aspect, so we leave a few surprises open.
addedPlayers who have already played the game will of course not have to start completely from zero, but some things work a little differently now. We would like you to find out by yourself. Have lots of fun with it. :) What we would like to say, however, is that we have decided to use the new resident system to represent not only the residents but also the combat units in the world and also to let them fight against each other. Militias in the city are now also shown. The fights can now also be better understood. A lot more is planned in this area in the next update.
changedSo it's back to work now. We will tell you at a later date how things will continue after the update. There are a lot of ideas, but the game should soon reach version 1.0 and we don't want to overload the game. If you enjoy the game, it will continue beyond bug fixes after 1.0!
addedOh yes, two little things to finish off with. 1. Unfortunately, old saved games can no longer be used with the new update, but we hope that this is at least the penultimate version where this will be the case. Too much has been changed and that's why it's just not technically possible. 2. Due to the great amount of work that has gone into the project, we will increase the price again shortly after the update has been released. We thank you for your understanding and support. With every unit sold in the EA, we can improve the game even further. So it is worth supporting the project!
