Repeated intro

Hello Everyone!

What changed

0 fixes1 addition3 changes0 removals
  • Gameplay
  • Compatibility
changedMUSICWe're still working on Manic Madness, another song featured in the Demo, so stay tuned for that!
changedMUSICSpeaking of the Demo, it's pretty outdated compared to the current beta of Fever, so we've decided to update the Demo! This is still a little while away, as we have more songs to remix, and levels to rechart, but it'll be updated within the next few months!
changedREWORKSThe major reworks I mentioned last month have been completed! This is a major step in the games development and brings us one BIG step closer to releasing. I can't exactly show off what changed, since it isn't exactly noticeable in gameplay, but is a major change when making levels, and overall, helps make sure the level stays on time with the song. While it's great having these mechanics, what does this actually matter if we don't use them?
addedSNEAK PEEKSWe've been working on new animations for each judgement! This includes the combo number above the sprite and how many milliseconds late/early you were when hitting the note!

MUSIC

Last month, I mentioned how previous songs from OST 1, specifically the ones featured in the Demo (except Retrograde) would be getting a little remix. As of yesterday, the first song to get remixed: Fever Power, was finished! What great timing! Check it out:

GAME UPDATES

Well, here it is, the part you've all been waiting for. What progress has been made on the actual game this month? Well, quite a lot! Let's just get into it:

REWORKS

The major reworks I mentioned last month have been completed!

LEVEL EDITOR

In April, We'll begin working on a level editor! At first, this will be private for the charters of Circular Fever, but eventually, it'll be public for everyone to use! It'll be available through Steam later this year.

SNEAK PEEKS

Now for a couple sneak peeks that don't need their own category! (all footage shown here is taken from an early build in development, everything is subject to change!)

We've been working on new animations for each judgement! This includes the combo number above the sprite and how many milliseconds late/early you were when hitting the note!

Bored of the set scroll speed of each level? Well now you can customise the scroll speed of each level! Take a little look at this example:

The menu has also recieved a redesign! (this is still a pretty early design, but its a good proof of concept!)

AND THAT'S A WRAP!

Thanks for reading! We've made a lot of progress this month! Granted, slow progress, but it's going well so far.

From the Circular Fever Development Team, we hope you have / had a great easter this year! We'll see you next month!
