CHAT CHAMPIONS changes
Big update this time around, featuring the all-new UPGRADE system as well as the debut of WEAPON SKINS! The menu UI has also been completely re-hauled with a more sophisticated interface allowing for easier navigation and more customization options than ever before. In addition, there is now a CUSTOM GAME MODE setting, where you can quickly select between a pre-made set of rules, or make and save your own!
Beta testers, your save files and statistics have been reset once again!
Bug Fixes
fixed Top Performance mid-round module being black instead of the player's name color
fixed a bug with !raising the Gold Shop's Community Goal
UI
new menu system with many more customization options added
custom game modes added
updated Leaderboards UI to match new menu system
updated the post-round and Battle Mod UI
Combat
Introducing, UPGRADES!
Between each round, players now have the option to select one of three random upgrades to apply for the remainder of the match! All players have to do is type 1, 2, or 3 in chat to select an upgrade.
Upgrades stack with each other as well as Battle Modifications and blessings/curses. The Upgrades feature can be toggled from the Settings menu, where individual Upgrades can be toggled as well. Currently, there are 34 unique Upgrades, with more planned for the future. Players can check which Upgrades they have selected by using the !myupgrades/!upgrades commands.
Maps
Arena
added 2 more layouts and made some minor adjustments to existing ones
Battle Mods
added Prize Fight mod (last player standing receives a random cosmetic drop), which is only available in the Free-For-All battle mode
reduced healing over time in Sudden Death
Economy
adjusted the drop rates again -- each item in the drop pool is randomly removed based on rarity (2% chance legendary included in possible drop, 8% chance ultra rare, 35% chance rare, 75% chance uncommon, 100% chance common)
adjusted the prices & rarities of player skins
Cosmetics
Weapon skins have been added to the game! Currently, each weapon has 5 unique skins (40 in total) with more coming soon. Weapon skins may also be acquired from a random item drop.
A player's weapon skin inventory can be viewed in chat by typing !weapons, and can be equipped by typing the weapon's name (e.g. !dagger) followed by the weapon skin's ID. (e.g. !dagger 3) Weapon skins have no affect on in-game attributes and are purely cosmetic.
added particle effects to Snoozer and Cupid player skins
added Cyclops and Nugget player skins (bringing us up to 20 skins in total)
Chat Commands
instead of displaying numbers for each item, the !inventory now displays the amount of items owned for each type (!hats, !skins, !emotes, !weapons) along with the corresponding chat commands to access more detailed inventory displays. This change was made to hopefully consolidate and clean up inventory messages.
!items & !inv now function the same as !inventory
Known Bugs/Issues
there is a slight visual hitch when switching between menus
in-game pause-menu does not match new UI

Combat Staff has been renamed to Staff for brevity's sake
War Hammer has been renamed to Hammer for brevity's sake
War Axe has been renamed to Axe for brevity's sake
fire now deals 2 damage per tick (up from 1)
