There are also explosive traps that detonate when destroyed, perfect for setting up ambushes.

Building

Building mechanic is the core of our game. Also, this part is closely connected with other parts of the game - the way you build your settlement impacts different events that occur during the game session, dialogues and the behavior of the enemies during the siege wave.

It is important to keep building mechanics simple to understand but meaningful when it comes to building your settlements.

Buildings come in many types, each serving a distinct purpose. Some generate or collect resources, others act as defenses by attacking enemies (like catapults or ballistas), and some provide valuable buffs. There are also explosive traps that detonate when destroyed, perfect for setting up ambushes.

Cards

One of the main features of our game after building. Currently, we have 23 cards in the game that we are actively adding. Amount of cards and their diversity are important as they represent your actions inside the game and play a key role in your strategy.

Enemies

Enemies are the demon forces that are attracted to your settlement as soon as you reach enough chaos. Currently, we have 3 enemies that have different behavior, attack patterns and stats. And obviously we are working on adding more of them

Seasons and weather

During the game, you will face different seasons and weather conditions. They impact the properties of the settlement and may trigger some events, and dialogues or give buffs. The appearance of your settlement will be changed as well.

Resource balancing

We decided to approach resource management uniquely. Along with gathering resources, you’ll also need to keep them balanced. Maintaining a good balance brings rewards, while poor balance can lead to some tough consequences…

Dialogs

Dialogues are events that you will face during the session. Some of them provide tough choices and will impact the life of your settlement.

Quests

Some of these will be accepted throughout the session to gain essential resources, cards, buffs, or currency, as well as to advance the game's story.

Settlement level

By building the settlement correctly and making the right choices, you will increase the settlement level, which will unlock cards with special abilities that can significantly improve your strength.
