changedThe missions for Hongyu's storyline are nearing the end of development (about one more week to go). The remaining major content for the full game includes the faction battles and ending events. On the art side, all that's left is a dozen or so character portraits and some UI elements. I'm hoping to bring the game to completion in early September and officially present it to everyone.
addedThe new addition worth highlighting this month is the Blackhole Gun.
changedThose of you who have played Chaos Galaxy will know that the Black Khalif Jihad recovered certain weapon technologies from the old Solaris Union era out of the Great Sandsea. Among the more notable of these was the Blackhole Gun. However, after the passage of so much time, the technology they possess is far inferior to what the Union's forces wielded a thousand years ago, and can only loosely be described as a large-scale weapon that makes crude use of gravitational forces.
changedIn Chaos Front, the Blackhole Gun makes its appearance as a decisive weapon of the Consortium's forces, capable of generating persistent miniature black holes on the battlefield. Any unit within range of a black hole loses 500 HP at the start of each turn. The ram weapon can also be used to push enemies into black holes.
changedBut this formidable weapon won't be seen until near the end of the game.
