This month my main work has been completing all missions, stage layouts, and testing for the Lycurgus storyline, along with the development and testing of various new programming features and artwork. I expect to need about one more week next month before this phase of development is wrapped up.

This month, let me introduce the Psions and Lab-Enhanced humans that appear in Chaos Front.

Psions are genetically mutated humans who possess extraordinary abilities such as telepathy, telekinesis, mind-reading, and precognition. In the final years of the Solaris Union, the scientific community saw a wave of enthusiasm for the discovery and study of Psionics.

After the Colonial Rebellion and the destruction of the Solar System, much of the related research was lost. A group of scientists studying psions fled to the Astorian Federation, where they secured investment and protection from the PeriCorp Group. During the Consortium era, they established the Human- Enhancement Institute—a facility dedicated to surgically and pharmacologically stimulating latent potential in individuals to awaken psionic abilities.

During the Centersea War, the Stellar Navigation Committee sought to use these technologies to turn the tide of battle. They invested in PeriCorp and established military bases in the Centersea Sector dedicated to producing enhanced humans and psionic ARMS.

Psionic ARMS harness telepathy, telekinesis, precognition, and other psionic abilities to control unmanned drones known as Sylph Pods in spatial combat. Beyond that, different psionic ARMS possess unique special abilities—such as psychically dominating enemies or unleashing a psionic surge that throws nearby foes into chaos.

However, the process of creating Lab-Enhanced humans inflicts tremendous suffering and psychological distortion on the subjects. Incidents of madness, self-harm, and even suicide are rampant.

Psions, Lab-Enhanced humans, and psionic ARMS will play a significant role in Chaos Front's gameplay. Please look forward to it.

On another note, this month I also added an option to watch allied unit combat animations.
