Archer Rework & More!

Additions : The archer's ultimate (Dramatic Shots) has been changed for a quick attack with no cooldown. Without using its synergies, its a skill even weaker than your basic attack.

changedThe archer's ultimate (Dramatic Shots) has been changed for a quick attack with no cooldown. Without using its synergies, its a skill even weaker than your basic attack. It can be combined with Quick Shot and Barrage to proc strong effects. Go check it out and tell us what you think!
changedExecute skills deal deathtouch damage instead of directly killing their targets. This will make stronger foes immune from all instant kill effects and therefore balance one-shot effects.
changedBarrage slows the enemies inside. Also reworked its three last upgrades.

  • Most of the texts are starting to use the icons of the combat system to simplify the descriptions. The numbers are also highlighted with an azure color.

  • @NelsieOo on Instagram made progress on the map menu and reworked the design of both the crafting menu and the shop menu :

    I'm really excited to see the final version of the map menu!!!

  • The crafting menu has a switch button to quickly see to two potential results.

  • The combat menu shows the keys to switch between active items.

  • We started to use FMOD, a sound engine that works hand-to-hand with Unity. This took way more time to put into place than intended, but it'll show benefits as the students that work with us get to experience with their creations and adjust accordingly to any feedback. A part of the UI sounds and some of the Archer's attacks are currently attached to FMOD.

  • The hover shader of the crates and the chests fades depending of your distance. This should be a quality of life improvement while the menus and an exciting addition for treasure hunters.

Fixes :

  • Loic Bouchard reworked some parts of the navmesh. The AI are starting to climb a little, but it still needs more adjusting.

  • Adjusted the English translation even more based on the feedback left by @Rylatar (thanks again for your time, it's really appreciated by the team and the community for sure)!

We answered most of the feedback received at this point. We are going to enter a development phase focused on massive additions for the main game (won't necessary impact the demo). This may take more time than usual, so we'll try to cut this between small updates.
