Catjinni Survivors changes
I’ve just updated the demo with several important changes, improvements, and fixes based on internal testing and player feedback. Here’s what’s new: Major Changes
Progression Fix: Level-ups now trigger correctly and consistently.
- New First BossThe first boss has been changed from Arakne to the Maneater Boss .
- New Enemy AddedIntroduced a new standard enemy in Cheops – the Wild Boar . It’s faster than mummies but still goes down in one or two hits.
Cheops Level Layout Updated: The level has been made wider to improve movement and combat flow.
Balance & Gameplay
Luck Rework: Luck is no longer scaled in flat 1%–10% steps. It now influences XP and heart drop rates in a more balanced way.
New Upgrades Added:
One upgrade reduces the duration of night.
One upgrade reduces the duration of day.
Lighting Adjustment: The night phase is now brighter for better visibility.
Bug Fixes & Optimization
Fixed several issues with enemy interactions during dashing, especially cases where enemies would behave unpredictably.
Improved code performance across the board for better overall gameplay smoothness.
This update also includes various smaller fixes and tweaks not listed here. I'll continuing to fine-tune the demo, and your feedback is incredibly valuable!
