changedForests now contain a bit more diversity of plant life. Burdock and other useful (and not so useful) herbs can occasionally be found growing in wooded biomes.
changedAdded actual armor values to tires, which previously took full damage from (almost) everything except bashing.
changedTires now use their stab armor to protect themselves from being damaged when running over items or rough terrain. Regular tires have a small amount, racing slicks have less than that, wide wheels and/or offroad wheels have a bit more, and armored wheels have MUCH more. Offroad tires are still immune to rough terrain, but running over e.g. corpses still matters to them. Note that this check looks at the wheel itself and not any armor that may be installed in the same vehicle tile.
changedThe base chance to proc a rough terrain roll is now higher, to offset the resistance now granted by the wheel's armor values.
changedThe chance to proc a rough terrain roll is now much more sensitive to speed. If you drive as slow as you can, your chances may be quite low, but they go up quickly if you accelerate. This should make it easier to maneuver your vehicle safely around obstacles but harder to car-fu every zombie you see.
removedRemoved the old 50% resist chance from armored wheels. Their actual armor values are higher.

  • Removed the old 50% resist chance from armored wheels. Their actual armor values are higher.

  • Fixed a plethora of longstanding issues with consistency in flags, kcal values, and nutritional content of meat and mutant meat, especially vis a vis chunks vs scraps.

  • Renamed mutant meat to foul meat. It is the same stuff and it comes from the same places, I just wanted to make things slightly vaguer so I can do more stuff with meat in the future.

  • Removed salted meat, salted fish, and salted mollusk. These items were just another name for jerky. Real salted meat is something else and is much harder to make.

  • Fixed an issue with smoked foul meat's name.

  • Removed the "clump of worms" item, which was redundant and unnecessary.

  • Machetes now have medium instead of high blocking ability. Machetes are still very good weapons, but they aren't quite so purpose-built as swords.
