Card Chronicles: Devious Deck changes
As previously mentioned, I am eagerly working on implementing a more cohesive card design to generate cards that synergize well with each other.
This week, I took a huge step forward by making resources in battle permanent, meaning they will not reset after each turn. Additionally, I have introduced a new resource: RAGE.
RAGE is a character-specific resource bound to The Brute, who, above all else, aims to deal massive amounts of damage when in a rage-like state. Therefore, stackable RAGE was implemented to later convert it into damage, given specific cards are played.
Furthermore, all cards in the demo were adjusted to ensure that playing different cards has more impact.
In the coming weeks, further adjustments and appropriate cards will be added to the game. Additionally, more content will be introduced after redesigning the tutorial.
