Community members! We are taking part in a very special sale this week. It’s a one week sale only, during which a few selected World War 2 Games will be on a discount. This week also marks 81 years since the end of the war.
World War 2
Whether you like it realistic or not, the World War 2 theme will always be represented in every generation of games. This war will always keep fascinating the world, and gamers are no exception there. It’s only fitting to choose this week, marking 81 years of freedom, to have this themed sale. In Call to Arms - Gates of Hell, we have incorporated as much realism as possible. Detailed recreations of the actual battlefields are just one part of that.
Remembering
This week it is 81 years since the end of the bloodiest conflict the world has ever seen. In the Soviet Union alone, around 25 million people lost their lives - over one third of this war’s estimated 70 million casualties. Never forget that the freedom we know today was paid for in blood. Whether you celebrate the end of World War 2 in Europe on the 5th, the 8th or the 9th of May doesn’t matter too much. The USSR, USA and Commonwealth (and many other countries) - together - defeated Nazism, that's what matters.
