In our previous update, we announced the transition from 2D to 2.5D and now we want to share concrete shots showing how it looks.
In upcoming posts, we will cover each topic separately with detailed visuals and explanations.
The biggest change yet
Bots 4 Defense has moved from 2D to a dynamic 2.5D environment! We’ve kept our recognizable pixel art style, but the game now gains new depth and lighting. This is a huge step forward — with many new animations, improved combat, and enhanced visual feedback.

Camera and visual feedback
Subtle camera shake during key moments tower placement, hits, enemy spawns,
Other improvements
HP bars above towers clearer health display and easier decision-making,
Redesigned dash system enemies can no longer be pushed off the map,
Fixed multiplayer bugs accurate life counting, scoring, and checkpoint behavior,
