Bonaparte - A Mechanized Revolution changes
Today marks the historic day in 1799 that ended the monarchy in France with a bloodless coup led by Napoleon Bonaparte; but MORE IMPORTANTLY, today marks the official full launch of Bonaparte - A Mechanized Revolution!
With this update, we welcome the following new features ;
Unit veterancy (to provide more significant units and reward successful tactical gameplay)
New languages (Chinese - Simplified, Chinese - Traditional, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and German)
New mechs
New maps
Steam Achievements (gotta catch ‘em all!)
Updated music to set the mood for your Revolution.

Bug fixes
Fixed a bug that would occasionally cause trials to hang the game
Fixed a bug that wasn’t allowing the pause menu to be opened while in the clubs panel
Fixed a bug that was continuing to display party leaders in the clubs panel, even after they had been executed
Fixed a bug that would cause the player to be excluded from the National Convention after the 3rd coup
Fixed a bug that was preventing the player from becoming enemies with their faction after the 3rd coup
Refinement
Improved a few UI panels with new designs
Updated many placeholder sound effects
Tactical
New features
Added two new mech units: Mech Cavalry and Mech Artillery
Added a new unit progression feature, allowing units that survive battles to gain experience, level up, and get new perks in combat
Added new maps for some coup battles
Added new music for event battles
Bug fixes
Fixed some text that wasn’t being localized when languages were switched
Fixed a bug that sometimes caused units to be reselected during dialogue
Refinement
Disabled the ability to save during tactical battles, as it was leading to some unexpected saving behaviour
Updated many placeholder sound effects
Global
New features
Integrated all remaining languages to the game, including Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and German
Added Steam achievements for the whole game
Bug fixes
Fixed some typos in dialogue
Added localization for generated officer names
Fixed a bug that was causing certain dialogue variables to be improperly translated
