What's up gang!

I'm late making this because honestly I've been busy working on the game, but I wanted to make sure I got something out this week since well, so much has changed!

I'll do a bullet point list of the major points since there's been a lot!

-Stripped the levels down to be more streamlined and honestly easier for the camera. For now we're gonna aim for a non-vertical left to right, in a Shovel Knight sort of way. At the moment I'm keep at tiles and details bare to avoid re-doing more work later.

-Shooting is now BACK to projectiles from raycasts. This will allow for better visual tracking and better collision since we're back to using all CharacterBody2D for the enemies. There's also now ammo count and reloading! Keeping things from being just a straight forward run and gun.

-New movement are added in the form of Dashing and Double Jump! Players can double jump as well as a quick dash that can knock back enemies, although at the cost of extra health lost!

-This will be balanced by enemies now having a "low health" phase where they will flash red, allowing the player to dash into them for an instant kill and extra help back (Like 2D glory kills lol)

-I also added an upgrade system! Players will now have an option to upgrade one of several values and the end of each level. Things like damage dealt, damage taken, health regained, as well as things like low health cost for dashing

Those are the big things for now. Working on getting the bones real solid before digging too deep into the rest. I'll keep you guys updated as much as I can!

Thank you so much for your support!
